Flower Delivery in Australia: Cut-Offs, Costs and Florists

It's 11am, the birthday is today, and the recipient lives in another city. Whether flowers can still arrive comes down to three things: the cut-off time in the recipient's city, the florist's delivery area, and what the delivery fee adds to the bouquet price. These guides set out those facts as the florists publish them, checked on their own websites on 30 October 2026.

Flower delivery by city

Cut-offs are in the recipient's local time, so an order sent from Sydney to Perth runs on Perth's clock. Flowers for Everyone lists a later residential cut-off, 5pm Monday to Friday, in Greater Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Every florist also says public holidays and special dates can differ, so the date picker at checkout is the final word.

A few facts as at 30 October 2026

• Fig & Bloom says it doesn't deliver on Sundays. Its same-day cut-off is 1pm local time, Monday to Saturday, in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
• Floraly says it doesn't currently deliver to Tasmania or the Northern Territory, and it lists same-day delivery in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide metro areas.
• Flowers for Everyone lists a $22.95 standard delivery fee (public holidays, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day excluded) and a $54.95 minimum order.
• Under the Australian Consumer Law, products must be of acceptable quality and match their description. The ACCC says a "no refunds" sign can't take those rights away, and a person who receives a gift has the same rights as the buyer.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get flowers delivered today?

Often, if you order before the cut-off in the recipient's city. On 30 October 2026 the earliest weekday cut-offs we found were 12pm (Floraly in Brisbane and Perth) and the latest was 5pm (Flowers for Everyone, residential orders). The same-day guide has the full table.

Is there Sunday flower delivery?

Of the three florists we checked, only Flowers for Everyone lists Sunday cut-offs: 2pm for residential orders in Greater Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, and 11am on the Central Coast and Gold Coast. Fig & Bloom says it doesn't deliver on Sundays.

How much is flower delivery?

It depends on the florist and address. Flowers for Everyone listed $22.95, Floraly calculates its fee at checkout, and Fig & Bloom's FAQ said a flat $19.95 while its shipping policy said to pay the fee shown at checkout. See flower delivery cost.

What if my flowers arrive wilted or late?
